Panel Page

The Panel page, accessible via the bottom menu, is your go-to for breaker labeling. This process can be done in a few ways: by detecting Navi activity in real-time, strategically placing Navis and triggering breakers, or by manually entering the information.

To edit the Panel description, or adjust the number of breakers displayed, hit the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page and select the panel you want to modify. You can also add additional panels and subpanels as needed.

Circuit Navigator now supports additional panels and sub-panels of any size.

Panel: Labeling Outlets

Understand how to use the Navi to label breakers in your panel.

Shutting Breakers to Identify Affected Outlets

All the Navis report back power status to the Circuit Navigator app.

  1. Name and place your Navis in multiple outlets at the site.
  2. Go to your breaker panel. Prepare to turn a single breaker off.
  3. Go to your Panel page in the app and double tap the breaker you are testing in the app.
  4. Follow the instructions on the app. Shut the real breaker off and turn it on 5 seconds later.
  5. All Navi testers that lose power will report back to the app and the names of those outlets will be added to the correct breaker.

Sensor Operations

Learn about the different sensors on your Navi panel.

GFCI Operation

This sensor detects Ground Fault Circuit Interruption events. You initiate a GFCI test.

When complete if it triggered a GFCI breaker - you can select the breaker number and the information is saved in your Panel page.

In all cases the Navi status will show GFCI pass/fail/unknown and that can be saved to your site report. Useful when the GFCI is local to the outlet.
